Abstract:Alkoxy group and fluorine atom were introduced onto the carbon chain of the substituent of the pyrimidine ring, and 12 novel sulfonylurea compounds with mono substituent in the pyrimidine ring were synthesized. The structures of all compounds were confirmed by 1 H NMR and elemental analysis. Herbicidal activity tests including IC 50 in rape root and pot experiments were carried out. The results show that the herbicidal activity decreases as the hydrogen atoms of the alkoxy group at 4 position of the pyrimidine ring are substituted by alkyl, alkoxy groups or fluorine atoms.
