Sampling valve for small volumes of gas

Summary A sampling valve for the injection on a gas chromatograph of precisely known gaseous samples in the range 1–120l gas is described. The valve has been calibrated with a liquid system. Examples of chromatograms obtained with injections of ethylene on a gas chromatograph using the valve are given.

Zusammenfassung Ein Probenahmegerät zur Injektion genau bestimmter Gasmengen von l bis 120l in einen Gaschromatographen wird beschrieben. Dieses wurde mittels einer Flüssigkeit geeicht. Nach Injektion von Aethen in einen Gaschromatographen erhaltene Chromatogramme werden als Beleg gezeigt.

Résumé On décrit une soupape pour l'injection sur un chromatographe en phase gazeuse, d'échantillons gazeux connus avec précision dans le domaine de 1–120l de gaz. On a calibré la soupape aves un système liquide. On donne des exemples de chromatogrammes obtenus en injectant de l'éthylène dans un chromatographe à gaz au moyen de la soupape.
