Abstract:Poly(ethyleneglycol monoethylether) methacrylate was grafted onto the segmented poly(ether urethane) (SPEU) by ozonization.The water absorption,grafting measurement and the scanning election microscopy photographs indicated that graft copolymerization has effectively made the SPEU surface covered with the water soluble chains.The hydrophilicity and water absorption of film had been improved greatly.Autoacceleration effect in ozone induced polymerization had also been discussed.
