| Abstract: | Four strong resonances have been observed in the far-infrared transverse magnetophotoconductivity of n-CdS at 1.2 and 4.2 K. The resonances are observed in the spectral range 10–120cm?1 at fields to 90 kOe. Two of these resonances are inconsistent with previously observed photoconductive mechanisms; a new mechanism which explains the observed resonances is proposed. |
