Abstract: | The frequency dependence of the reflectivity spectra of doped La2–xSrxCuO4 in a high frequency region is analyzed based on a picture of correlated hole hopping within a lower Hubbard subband. It is shown that experimental trends are fairly well accounted for by this model, suggesting that the normal state of this compound is quite different from the metallic state. |
