| Abstract: | The crystal structure of diselenadithiafulvalene has been determined by direct methods, and refined by full-matrix least-squares techniques toR=0.119 based on 2393 unique reflections. The structure, which contains four crystallographically unrelated centrosymmetric molecules of diselenadithiafulvalene, apparently consists of a disordered equimolar mixture of the cis and trans isomers of this compound or, alternatively, of one of these isomers in two orientations. |
