| Abstract: | Structure: see text] A Pd/C-catalyzed chemoselective hydrogenation using diphenylsulfide as a catalyst poison has been developed. This methodology selectively hydrogenates olefin and acetylene functionalities without hydrogenolysis of aromatic carbonyls and halogens, benzyl esters, and N-Cbz protective groups. |
