| Abstract: | Synthesis of N-alkyl phthalimides and N-alkyl succinimides through alkylation of potassium phthalimide and potassium succinimide in dry media catalyzed by phase-transfer catalyst under microwave irradiation will be reported. The reactions were with fairly high yield. |
