| Abstract: | The reaction of cyclo-(Me3SiCH2Sb)5 with excess of W(CO)5thf (thf = tetrahydrofuran), in thf gives the 1:2 complex: cyclo-(Me3SiCH2Sb)5 1,3-[W(CO)5]2. A X-ray crystal structure analysis reveals that the complex contains a five membered antimony ring in the envelope conformation. The W(CO)5 fragments are in trans positions. |
