Abstract:The radiation-induced (γ-quanta of 60Co source) coordination topological defect formation in chalcogenide glasses of quasi-binary AS2S3—GeS2 system is studied using experimental techniques of IR Fourier spectroscopy and positron annihilation lifetime measurements. The new model of open-volume microvoids connected with negatively charged under-coordinated defects is developed at the basis of the obtained results.
