| Abstract: | New substituted stilbenes have been prepared by reactions of (E)-4-stilbenethiole with dibromoalkanes. 1H and 13C NMR spectra of new compounds have been assigned unambiguously on the basis of a combination of homo- (1H?1H COSY) and heteronuclear (1 H?13C COSY-HETCOR) two-dimensional methods, chemical shifts, and spin-coupling constants. |
