| Abstract: | A series of 1,3-diarylbenzoc]selenophenes (symmetrical/unsymmetrical) have been synthesized involving a selenium transfer reaction of keto-alcohol/benzoc]furan using Woollins reagent. The optical and electrochemical studies of these diarylbenzoc]selenophenes are correlated with their structures. |
