| Abstract: | Electrostatic interactions drive the adsorption of polycationic single-molecule magnets onto anionic monolayers self-assembled on gold surfaces. Well-isolated magnetic clusters have been deposited and characterized using scanning tunneling microscopy and X-ray photoemission spectroscopy. |
