图书馆效益是指实际投入的资源配置结构与产出的文献信息服务结构之间的比较，衡量标准为读者需求结构的满足程度，影响因素主要有资源质量，资源配置及图书馆组织内部的工作效率，实现图书馆效益最大化必须使投入的各资源质量合格，配置合理和图书馆组织高效率。
