| Abstract: | All nondegenerate indecomposable forms of higher degree over a perfect field k can be realized as traces of nondegenerate absolutely indecomposable forms of higher degree over a suitable algebraic field extension of k. With the help of trace forms of certain nonassociative algebras we construct classes of indecomposable forms of degree d≥3. |
