| Abstract: | The inhibiting power of a phenolic antioxidant upon introduction into polyethylene contacting with metallic zinc was examined. Conditions at which zinc enhances the inhibiting effect of the antioxidant were determined, and the mechanism responsible for this effect was suggested. |
