Mathematical simulation of gas cloud motion following the atmospheric explosion of a meteoroid

Abstract:The gasdynamic consequences of the explosion of a meteoroid in a dense atmosphere are studied. The gas motion is simulated on the basis of a high-accuracy numerical method using adaptive movable networks. Some effects which could not be reproduced using coarser networks are revealed. Moscow.
