| Abstract: | The oxidation kinetics of iron have been investigated in the vicinity of its Curie temperature θc = 1043 K using a gravimetric technique. Large differences were found in the oxidation kinetics above and below θc. A comparison is made between our results and those previously reported by Measor and Afzulpurkar. |
