摘    要:针对L-band的泵浦效率不高的缺点改进了光链路:在EDFA的前端加入一个光纤环行镜用来反射铒纤产生的后向放大自发发射谱(ASE),通过实验和数值分析发现,在较大的波长范围内光纤环形镜(FLM)可以反射后向ASE的能量,平均增益在12.5 dB以上,提高了泵浦效率,证明这一结构对提高L-band EDEA的转换效率是简单有效的。

Abstract:In order to improve the poor power conversion efficiency of L-band erbium doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) , the optical link was ameliorated: a fiber loop mirror (FLM) was proposed at the foreside of the EDFA to reflect the back ASE emitted by erbium doped fiber. The experiment and theoretical results show that FLM can reflect the back ASE in a large spectrum range, and the average gain is above 12.5 dB. The power conversion efficiency is improved. It is proved that this structure is simple and efficient in improving the power conversion efficiency of EDFA.
