| Abstract: | The cocolouration effect of Sc-Ca-alizarin red has been investigated. The essence of the cocolouration effect is due to formation of polymoric mixed polynuclear complexes. And there is a good linear relationship between the concentration of trace scandium and the absorbance. This method was used to determine microamount of Sc. The possible mechanism of formation for the polymeric-mixed-poly-nuclear complexes has been discussed. |
