Abstract:Various biologically important perimidine derivatives have been synthesized efficiently from various ketones and naphthalene1,8-diamine by using a catalytic amount of RuC13 (1 mol%). This method is a very simple and high yielding reaction for the synthesis of perimidine derivatives.
