| Abstract: | Synthesis of 22,23-methano-24-nor-cholest-5-en-3β-ol and comparison with cystosterol 22,23-Methano-24-nor-cholest-5-en-3β-ol, a novel cyclopropane-containing sterol was synthesized from stigmasterol and found to be different from the isomeric, naturally occurring marine sterol cystosterol. |
