Catalytic enantioselective oxidation of sulfides to sulfoxides with a renewable hydroperoxide

Abstract:The catalytic asymmetric oxidation of prochiral sulfides can be conveniently performed by using an easily accessible and renewable furyl hydroperoxide in the presence of the chiral Ti(O-i-Pr)4/BINOL/H2O system.
