Abstract: | The dependencies of the maximum permissible disposition density of waveguides on printed circuits on the contrast value of Δn of refractive indices are computed. It has been shown that minimum cross coupling between adjacent waveguides are observed when the dimension of the core is optimal for providing the maximum fundamental mode confinement within the core. |
