Antiferromagnetic-paramagnetic transition in AlCr2

Measurements have been made on the AF P magnetic phase transition in AlCr₂, which has a Cll_b superlattice. The transition is affected by ordering and a structural transformation. High-temperature calorimetry and x-ray diffraction indicate the transition type.
