Specific heat of 1T-Ta0.93Ti0.07S2 in the Anderson localized states

Abstract:The specific heat of 1T-Ta0.93Ti0.07S2 in the Anderson localized states has been measured from 0.2 to 5.0 K in magnetic fields up to 60 kOe. Below 3.5 K, a Schottky type excess specific heat was observed, depending on the magnetic field. This excess specific heat is explained on the basis of both the Coulomb interactions between different Anderson localized states as well as in the same state.
