Combinatorial synthesis of unsymmetrical secondary amines. Application to arylethanolamines,arylpropanolamines and aryloxypropanolamines

Combinatorial libraries of unsymmetricalsecondary amines: arylethanolamine, arylpropanolamines andaryloxypropanolamines [1], in particular have been synthesizedby four different routes using styrenes, aldehydes,hydroxyaromatic acids and bromoaliphatic acids. Thestructurally diverse libraries were generated in parallelformat using solid phase methodology. The compoundscorresponding to prototype I–IV were obtained in high yields and purities.
