| Abstract: | The problem of the elastic contact interaction between a rough disk and a rough plane with a round cut-out is solved with
allowance for the microgeometry of their surfaces. This makes it possible to clarify the effect of the main parameters of
the problem, on the stress state in the examined joint. A comparison of results from an analysis of the stress state in the
contact region for various combinations of the elastic characteristics of interacting smooth bodies and results of well-known
studies confirms the high effectiveness of the approach proposed.
