| Abstract: | A study of the influence of eight diverse solvents on a Grubbs II-catalysed ring-closing metathesis (RCM) reaction reveals a complex dependence of the different reaction steps on the solvent and suggests acetic acid as a useful solvent for RCM reactions. |
