| Abstract: | The extraction of some lanthanides from an aqueous phase with ionic strength of μ=0.05 by a mixture of thenoyl-trifluoroacetone (HTTA) and 2-methylpyridine (α-picoline) in CCl4 has been investigated. The possibility has been shown for the formation of mixed tetra-β-diketonate complexes and no difference has been observed in the behaviour of the lanthanides of the two sub-groups. |
