Abstract: | Second-harmonic generated u.v. radiation from an argon-ion pumped CW dye laser is used to yield highly resolved fluorescence line-narrowed spectra of fluorene and naphthalene in 3-methylpentane at 10 K and 5 K, respectively. The results suggest that the applicability of the method can be widely extended. |
