| Abstract: | [structure: see text] Regioisomerically pure bromo-substituted rhodamine derivatives (bromorosamines) were prepared via microwave-accelerated condensation reactions followed by oxidation with chloranil. Reaction optimization was conveniently performed by monitoring UV absorptions attributed to the product. |
