Abstract: | A numerical algorithm is given for solving a class of infinite-order differential equations previously discussed by the authors. These equations yield solutions to certain time-dependent boundary-value problems for the heat equation. An extrapolation process is given for increasing the speed of convergence of the sequence generated by the method. © 1992 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. |
