Abstract: | A geometrical approach to the Hojman theorem of a rotationalrelativistic Birkhoffian system is presented. The differentialequations of motion of the system are established. Accordingto the invariance of differential equations under infinitesimaltransformation, the determining equations of Lie symmetry areconstructed. A new conservation law of the system, called Hojmantheorem, is obtained, which is the generalization of previousresults given sequentially by Hojman, Zhang, and Luo et al. Interms of the theory of modern differential geometry a proof ofthe theorem is given. |
