Stability of rarefaction wave to the 1-D piston problem for exothermically reacting Euler equations

Abstract:This paper is to devoted to the stability of the rarefaction wave for one dimensional piston problem of the exothermically reacting Euler equations. When the total variation of the initial data and the perturbation of the piston velocity are sufficiently small, we employ fractional wave front tracking scheme to establish the global existence and study the asymptotic behavior of entropy solutions as \(t\rightarrow +\infty \).
