Abstract: | Summary The volume of amorphous zirconium phosphate precipitates formed in acid solutions (pH=0–2) is increased many times by the action of fluoride (hydrofluoric acid). At fluoride concentrations corresponding to a maximum precipitate volume, the particles slowly (during several days) coalesce to form a semi-solid gel.Dedicated to Univ. Prof. Dr.O.
