| Abstract: | Abstract ZnO nanorods were synthesized using a novel and solvent-free procedure and their catalytic activity in the preparation of imidazo[1,2-a]azines and diazines was studied. The effects of the amount of catalyst and its reusability were investigated to optimize the reaction conditions. The ZnO nanorods exhibited higher catalytic activity than that of bulk ZnO. |
