Abstract: | MAMT has been studied for its microanalytical uses. Selective microevaluation of Au(III), Ag(I), and Tl(I) have been carried out with MAMT, incorporating masking and solvent extraction techniques in conjunction with ring colorimetry. MAMT has also been used as a chromogenic reagent for Au(III), while PTC had to be used for Ag(I) and Tl(I) as their MAMT complexes are white. |
