Synthesis of (±) Peperomins |

| Abstract: | The total synthesis of natural antitumor agent (±) peperomin A, B and C are reported. These syntheses were started from benzophenones and diethyl succinate by Stobbe condensation. Three successive steps were employed to give the (±)-peperomins. |
