| 摘 要： | 概念隐喻是一般隐喻的概括和总结,它反映人类的认知和思维。英汉两种语言中均存在大量的有关动物的概念隐喻,它们都有其特定的文化喻意。本文从概念隐喻入手,通过对英汉语言中动物词语的对比和分析,阐述了两种文化在思维方式、价值观等方面的异同。

| Abstract: | Conceptual metaphor is based on everyday metaphors with generality,systematicality and productivity as its main characteristics.It can reflect human beings' cognition and thinking.There are a lot of animal words in English and Chinese,which have gained their own cultural connotations.By comparing and analyzing English and Chinese animal words from the perspective of conceptual metaphors,this paper probes into the cultural similarities and differences of the two languages in terms of thinking models,value and so on. |
