Abstract:Some primary factors having influence on the resolution in x-ray hologram arediscussed. The factors in recording x-ray holograms are x-ray coherent scattering by the specimen, the recording methods and the coherence of the x-ray beam. The relationships betweenthe factors and the resolution of recording are given, and the differences between x-ray holography and optical holography are shown. Two peimary factors must be considered in reconstruction of the hologram. One is that the resolution of the detector may be lower than the spatial frequency of x-ray holograms. The other is aberrations. The relationships between aberrations and the resolution in reconstruction and the way to get rid of aberrations are analyzed.
