| Abstract: | Chemical destruction of ozone was diagnosed on the basis of long-term microwave observations of the ozone evolution in the stratosphere above the Kola Peninsula in winters of 2002–2003 and 2004–2005. We present a method for calculating the total ozone loss at the end of winter and the beginning of spring with allowance for nondiabatic lowering of the air masses. The obtained results are compared with other measurement data. |
