On the use of232U and its daughters for the determination of226Ra in water samples

Abstract:	The authors propose a method to determine 226Ra by using a solution of²³²U and its daughters in equilibrium as a tracer.²²⁴Ra of the²³²U solution can be used as yield determinant for²²⁶Ra. The growth of²¹⁴Po from²²⁶Ra and of²¹²Po from²²⁴Ra is measured at different times after the isolation of the radium fraction.
