Abstract:he morphology of PVC CPE blended with rigid organic fillers(ROF)and toughening mechanism were studied by TEM and SEM.The results showed that the obvious toughening effect was obtained by filling ROF to PVC CPE matrix.As a result some fibril formed on the broken surface of samples,and CPE distributed in form of network structure in PVC matrix,and ROF in form of particles.Cold drawing of ROF occured and the brittle-ductile transformation of matrix was observeds when the samples were stretched,so that the toughenss of the blends was increased.
