摘    要:We study theoretically the influence of spin--orbitcoupling induced by in-plane external electric field on theintrinsic spin-Hall effect in a two-dimensional electron gas withRashba spin--orbit coupling. We show that, after such an influence istaken into account, the static intrinsic spin-Hall effect can bestabilized in a disordered Rashba two-dimensional electron gas, andthe static intrinsic spin-Hall conductivity shall exhibit someinteresting characteristics as conceived in some originaltheoretical proposals.
