| Abstract: | A giant pulse current discharge (150 kA) has been used to feed a vacuum spark in order to obtain a continuum in the extreme ultraviolet range. Emission was observed in the region 200-50 Å. The short light pulse delivered (300 ns) is suitable for absorption spectroscopy measurements of fast transient media. |
