港城协同发展与城市经济增长

摘    要:基于2005―2019年中国10个主要港口城市的面板数据, 通过耦合协同度模型测算港城耦合协同水平, 使用双向固定效应模型检验港城协同对城市经济增长的影响. 结果表明: (1)我国主要港口城市的港城耦合协同度在2005―2019年期间整体呈现上升趋势, 其中上海的港城耦合协同水平最高. (2)我国主要港口城市间的港口与城市发展水平存在差距, 港城协同发展水平仍存在较大的提升空间. (3)港城协同发展能够显著促进城市经济增长, 此结论在IV-GMM、IV-LIML等多种估计方法下依旧稳健.

Abstract:Based on the panel data of 10 major port cities in China from 2005 to 2019, in this paper the coupling synergy level of port cities is estimated through the coupling synergy degree model, and the impact of port-city synergy on urban economic growth is empirically tested using the two-way fixed effect model. The results show that: (1) The port-city synergy degree of major port cities in China shows an overall upward trend from 2005 to 2019. Among them, the port-city synergy level of Shanghai is the highest. (2) There is a gap in the development level of ports and cities among major port cities in China, and there is still a large room for improvement in the coordinated development level of ports and cities. (3) Coordinated development of port and city can significantly promote urban economic growth. The conclusion made in this study remains true under IV-GMM, IV-LIML and other estimation methods.
