| Abstract: | Combining transmission electron microscopy and electron energy loss spectroscopy with an equation of state for super dense He we have determined both density and pressure of He in implantation induced bubbles in Al and Ni films. Maximum pressures obtained are 130 Kbar in Al and 500 Kbar in Ni, which are close to the limits of the material strength of the metals. |
