Abstract:
The layered transition metal dichalcogenide 1T-TaS2 was studied by the Doppler broadening of positron annihilation. The Doppler broadened line- shape was measured over the temperature range between 77 and 292 K. The CDW phase transformation at about 200 K is discussed in terms of the W-parameters calculated from the energy spectra.
