Abstract: | In this paper, we consider an initial‐boundary problem for a fourth‐order nonlinear parabolic equations. The problem as a model arises in epitaxial growth of nanoscale thin films. Based on the Lp type estimates and Schauder type estimates, we prove the global existence of classical solutions for the problem in two space dimensions. Copyright © 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. |
